Our trace elements
Trace elements are essential mineral nutrients required by animals in very small amounts. These elements are vital for the proper functioning of enzymes and hormones, as well as for the structure and integrity of cells. In animal nutrition, trace elements such as zinc, copper, manganese, and iron are added because they provide various benefits to the animals.
For example, iron enables oxygen transport in the blood; copper plays a role in bone growth; zinc strengthens the immune system; and manganese helps regulate the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. Overall, trace elements are necessary nutrients that support feed digestion, strengthen bones, and enhance the growth and performance of animals.
